If I mentioned about Bordeaux, you will most probably thinking I’m talking about Bordeaux red.  If I mentioned about Ch. Buy Viagra Soft Tabs Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed Suduraut, you will most probably thinking about its botrytis sweet dessert wine.  However, I’m talking about Sauternes dry white wine, “S” de Suduraut.

The most famous dry wine from Sauternes is certainly “Y” from Ch. Buy lasix online d’Yquem.  As Ch. d’Yquem is the most expensive dessert wine in the world, “Y” certainly would not be cheap!  It is almost always selling at over HK$1000 per bottle.  Was it good?  I don’t know!  I am still not willing to spend this sum to buy a bottle yet.

Ch. Suduiraut started producing only dry white wine since 2004 even though Ch. Suduiraut has been producing dry white wine for their own consumption.  Surprisingly, dry white wine accounts for 10% of total Ch. Suduiraut production.  Sauternes dry white wine is produced using healthy Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon not affected by botrytis.

Returning to this bottle of  ”S” de Suduiraut, it has quite a punchy and complex nose of minerality, wax, smoke, dried flower, dried herb and honey.  Comparing to all those fruit-forward Sauvignon Blanc, I really prefer this much more.

In palate, it has quite a full and heavy body.  The wine has medium acidity but process the same level of complexity as its nose.  Just a medium length Buy Nolvadex Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed but with a nice slightly bitter lemon peel aftertaste.

In short, I think this bottle is offering very good value for money.  When you think about Bordeaux red next time, why don’t try a bottle of Bordeaux white?  They are actually quite good but sadly neglected by most.

BTW, given this wine has quite a full body, it doesn’t match well with streamed seafood.  Instead it matches better with fried seafood.  Maybe the oily body of seafood matches better with this rather heavy wine.

Purchased from Landmark Three-Sixty (HK$300)
