Burgundy red is one of my favorite and I drink quite a lot of them.  Spatburgunder (Pinot Noir in German) has gained a lot of praises recently.  I’m really interested to try a bottle and see how it compares with Burgundy red.

Meyer-Nakel is one of the best Spatburgunder producer in Germany.  Its producer Werner Nackel has visited Burgundy and met Henri Jayer in the 1980s.  He then has his vision and aimed to produce world-class Pinot Noir.

This bottle has very pure and intense nose of red fruit.  Also got hints of earth and minerality.  In palate, it processed very concentrated flavour of strawberry.  Medium to full body and medium acidity.  Buy cipro online Very long length.

In summary, I think this wine is quite good.  Unfortunately, I found its alcohol is too strong both in its nose and in palate.  Personally, while I think it is a good bottle, I don’t think it is that outstanding.  For the price of GBP50, it is a bit too expensive to me.  I would probably only pay it for GBP30.
