Do. de Beaurenard Chateauneuf du Pape 2007
2007 年的 Southern Rhone，是另一個意見分岐的年份。Robert Parker 把它形容為 “the vintage of a lifetime” 和 “this is a truly historic and profoundly great vintage”。這邊廂 Robert Parker 大讚特讚，那邊廂同樣來自美國 New York Times 的 Eric Asimov 卻認為 2007 的 Chateauneuf du Pape 太過 fruit-foreard，果味太多，欠缺陳年的潛力。同樣地，2010年一月的 Decanter 也認為 2007 年的 Southern Rhone 天氣過熱，酒缺乏酸度。且看這瓶 2007 年的 Southern Rhone 表現如何。
這瓶 Chateauneuf du Pape 的生產商為 Dom. De Beaurenard。使用了 70% 的 Grenache 和各自 10% 的 Syrah, Cinsault 和 Mourvedre。
香味方面，不算強烈，主要為香料和紅果。喝下時，中等酒體，單寧中等但單寧成熟幼細，跟 Eric Asimov 和 Decanter 說的一樣，頗 fruit-forward，味道主要為酸車厘子。雖有不錯的集中度，但 mid palate 似乎弱了一點。似乎 2007 的 Southern Rhone 真的不太適合久存。
