After drinking the two beautiful Krug few days ago, what I tried this time is what Buy motilium online many people describing it as “poor man’s Krug”.

The reason why Alfred Gratien is usually Online Pharmacy No Prescription Needed referred as “poor man’s Krug” is not only because it is so much cheaper than Krug, it is also because it has many similarities with Krug in its production method.

First of all, both Krug and Alfred Gratien are using small barrels for first fermentation.  In addition, while most Champagne will have malolactic fermentation, Champagne from both Krug and Alfred Gratien will not undergo any malolactic fermentation.  In addition, their wines will have slow oxidation during their production and this gives longer ageing potential.  Unsurprisingly, whenever I drink Alfred Gratien, it did resemble Krug’s style quite a bit.

This Alfred Gratien 1998 does not have the explosive flavour when comparing to Krug 1998.  Still it has very complex flavoured of autolytic, citrus and floral.  It has a very refreshing nose.  In palate, it has very concentrated flavours of autolytic, citrus and lemon peel.  Similar to Krug 1998, it has a very strong lemon flavour in its aftertaste.  Is this a feature of vintage 1998?  This wine is still very young and I believe a few more years cellaring will improve this wine.
