Gloria Ferrer Sonoma Brut NV

Would Buy cialis online like to order a glass of Champagne during dinner.  However, the restaurant charges their wines quite high that a glass of Moet NV cost HK$180.  Maybe it’s better to drink at home.

There is not many non-Champagne sparkling wines in the wine shop, only Chile Cono Sur Sparkling Brut, USA Gloria Ferrer Brut NV and Katnook Estate Chardonnay Brut 2006.  Haven’t drink any of them before, which one should I choose?

One of the main reason why I enjoy Champagne is its bread and toast flavour which is the result of using bottle fermentation.  Most non-Champagne sparkling wine would use tank fermentation since its production cost is lower.

Since bottle fermentation is the best way to have 2nd fermentation, if a sparkling wine is produced that way, it will always be stated.

Of the three, Chile Cono Sur Sparkling Brut and Katnook Estate Chardonnay Brut 2006 didn’t anything on its production method.  Gloria Ferrer, however, mentioned quite a lot.  For example the front label said “Fermented in this bottle” and labels at the back and on the neck mentioned “Methode Champenoise”.  Let’s choose Gloria Ferrer!

There is really smell of bread and toast when I poured.  Its colour is pale yellow.  Quite full-bodied and have smells of apple, pear, citrus and toast.  Not a bad choice as an alternative for Champagne.
